Description

Haridwar- India

main banks of ganges.
The barrier along the river.. The 'Swastik' here is an Indian religious symbol and no link to Nazis and Hitler.

In Hinduism, the two symbols represent the two forms of the creator god Brahma: facing right it represents the evolution of the universe (Devanagari: प्रवृत्ति, Pravritti), facing left it represents the involution of the universe (Devanagari: निवृत्ति, Nivritti). The swastika is one of the 108 symbols of Hindu deity Vishnu and represents the Sun's rays, upon which life depends. It is also seen as pointing in all four directions (north, east, south and west) and thus signifies grounded stability. The swastika is used in all Hindu yantras and religious designs.

It is an old shot and a bit grainy for a few reasons-
-my 6mp camera
-light issues
-when i took this picture, i was trying my hand at my camera.

But i thought this was worth sharing, because of the sheer value of the exeprience.

I know there is no link to the most known 'Führer' intended,

but as a German I'm still allowed to laugh in the face of the picture and titel combination, am I ? xDDDD
